Digital Assessment Tool

I am currently an eLearning Support Specialist at Lamar University and one of my job functions is to present at our professional development workshops. The objective of the workshops is to spread digital literacy, share new technologies, and collaborate on vital Blackboard topics with our colleagues and other faculty and staff across campus. It’s important to receive feedback from those that participate in order to gauge our success or failure in meeting that objective. Therefore, I decided to create a digital survey for the participants to complete after they attend one of our workshop sessions. I chose to use Google Forms to create my digital formative assessment. The form is titled LU Online Workshop Evaluation, essentially it’s a brief survey, which will assess what the attendees learned and how they felt about the workshop content, presenters and classroom locations. It will collect vital feedback and record it in a spreadsheet. These recorded responses would be used to analyze whether we met our goals and objectives and for improving our future workshops.
